Now that's a Spicy Meatball...


• 1 lb Ground Beef
• 1/2 lb Ground Veal
• 1/2 lb Ground Pork
• 2 Eggs, large
• 1 C Parmesan cheese, grated
• 1 C Italian breadcrumbs
• 1/4 C Olive oil
• 2 Tsp Italian parsley, finely chopped
• 2 Tbsp Pirates Blend Garbanero (Garlic & Habanero) Sauce
• Salt and Pepper, to taste
• 1 or 3 bottles of your fave Red Wine


Preheat oven to 425F degrees.

First pour yourself a glass of wine. Then mix the beef, veal and pork together in a large bowl, followed by the eggs, cheese, Italian breadcrumbs, olive oil, parsley, Pirates Blend Garbanero Sauce, salt and pepper to taste. Continue mixing, making sure everything is thoroughly combined.

Form the mixture into 1-inch sized meatballs and place on a large baking sheet. Place the meatballs in the oven for 7 minutes, then turn them over so the other side can brown. Pour yourself another glass of Red Wine, and continue baking meatballs for another 7 minutes.

Transfer the meatballs to a pot of your favorite pasta sauce and simmer for an additional 15 minutes.

Serve over your choice pasta or tortellini, followed by a generous sprinkling of Parmesan cheese, and of course, Red Wine and good company!

Yields about 40 - 1 inch meatballs
